I hear you Jazmine Sullivan, that title is the says it all. Why the hell do we love love so much and no matter what we do we always end up broken hearted...well that is the ones of us NOT living in a fairytale fantasy. Love never seems to favor us in the real world. Love is either a friend or an enemy. It never really is a good thing until you've found that special someone that you'll favor your entire life. My favorite quote about love is believe it or not from the bible. It's the a verse from 1 Corinthians 13, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." It continues on with more clever notes about love, but it is without a doubt the truth. Love is tossed around way too much now-a-days. People use love to get by and use it to get what and who they want. People don't know what love really is until they've experienced it fully. Love makes a man happy, and makes a man want to do better and want to be a better person. When you're really in love, you want to do good things and make something out of your life. Love should never be forced, it should all just come naturally.Whether its young love or old love, it should always be true and pure. I think that if people use love more often in the world and in current events, the world would be a better place. I think love needs to be more relevant and more involved in everyday life experiences. But honestly, love will never truly conquer all until everyone sees the big picture.
